Turnpike Challenge Opens at Creek County Speedway on March 12
Sapulpa, OK (3/3/26) – The Turnpike Challenge officially gets underway on Thursday, March 12, as Creek County Speedway hosts the opening night of the multi-day swing.
The POWRi National & West Midget Leagues will headline the evening, bringing a strong national field to the Sapulpa oval to kick off the weekend in Oklahoma.
Expected entries include Rylan Gray, Karter Sarff in the Trifecta Motorsports 7U, Drew Sherman, and Mack Leopard with Chase McDermand Racing. Brecken Reese and Kale Drake (RMS) are also slated to compete, along with the Keith Kunz Motorsports trio of Jacob Denney, Gavin Miller, and Colton Robinson.
Kevin Thomas Jr. (4 Kings Racing) and Hayden Reinbold (Reinbold Underwood Motorsports) add veteran presence to the field, while Oklahoma standout Blake Hahn will also be in action to open the Turnpike Challenge.
Also racing on Thursday night will be the National Open Wheel 600 Series, featuring A-Class, Non-Wing, and Restricted divisions. With midgets and micros sharing the card, fans can expect a full night of open-wheel racing to start the weekend.
