Sooner Late Models return to Creek County Speedway Friday
John Rittenoure - TULSA, Okla. (July 26, 2022) - Kip Hughes will be looking to repeat his June 3 victory when the Complete Well Testing Sooner Late Model Series returns to Creek County Speedway on Friday.
Hughes has 3 wins on the season after winning the last CWT event on July 9 at Enid Speedway. The four-time defending champion sits second in points behind four-time winner Hayden Ross of Muskogee.
Pits open at 4 p.m., grandstands at 5. Hot laps are scheduled for 7 with racing to follow at 8.

About Sooner Late Model Series
The Sooner Late Model Series was formed in 2016 by Enid Speedway co-promoter Mark Brill. Brill felt there was not many opportunities for late model competitors to race in Oklahoma and the Sooner Late Model Series was formed. Now the series has grown beyond the borders of Oklahoma with events held in the neighboring states of Kansas, Texas and Arkansas as well.
