Inside Line Promotions – EL PASO, Texas (Aug. 11, 2020) – SawBlade.com Xiphos saw blade backed driver John Carney II begins a six-day stretch of sprint car competition on Tuesday when he invades Lakeside Speedway.

It will mark his debut at the dirt oval in Kansas City, Kan., and the first of a half dozen races this week during ASCS Sprint Week.

“We want to get off to a good start and that begins with a solid qualifying lap,” he said. “I’m excited that ASCS is trying the All Star format this week.”

Carney II will then compete on Wednesday at Caney Valley Speedway in Caney, Kan.; Thursday at 81 Speedway in Park City, Kan.; Friday at Creek County Speedway in Sapulpa, Okla.; Saturday at I-30 Speedway in Little Rock, Ark.; and Sunday at Diamond Park Speedway in Nashville, Ark.

He has been to all of those tracks except Diamond Park Speedway.

“Racing six days in a row can be grueling and a lot of work, but if you get on a roll it’s a lot of fun as well,” he said. “Our goal is to build momentum at Lakeside Speedway and hopefully string together a week of solid performances.”
