Champ Sprints Taking On Sprint Series of Oklahoma This Saturday At Creek County Speedway

Bryan Hulbert – SAPULPA, Okla. (June 24, 2019) What was slated to be a night with Creek County Champ Sprints and the Sprint Series of Oklahoma (IMCA RACESaver 305cid) has been combined to finally see who has the upper hand, as the two classes will go head-to-head on Saturday, June 29 in the Sooner Sprint Showdown.

$1,000 to win, $275 to start for the Champ Sprint/RACESaver combination, the rules for the combination are simple.

  1. Your car must conform to your class’s rules package. No mismatching rules.
  2. Creek County Champ Sprint Engine or IMCA RACESaver Engine legal engine only.
  3. 1,500lbs weight rule with the driver.
  4. Top Wing max size is 25 square feet. Must run same size wing all night.
  5. ASCS Medium or RACESaver Stamped Right Rear. Must durometer to spec.
  6. Left Rear must durometer 35 or harder.
  7. No Bleeders
  8. Creek County Speedway Muffler Rule will be enforced.

Following the races, Creek County Speedway will have a firework display as well. This is a non-point show for the Champ Sprints. Saturday, June 29 will also include Modifieds, Factory Stocks, Mini Stocks, and Dwarf Cars.

Admission for Saturday, June 29 is $10 for adults. Youth 11-14 will be admitted for $6 and kids 10 and under get into the grandstands for free. Pits Passes are $30 (under 10 years of age is $15). Special Event prices will be posted to the Creek County Speedway website, as well as Social Media.

Saturday events open at 5:00 P.M. with Hot Laps at 7:00 P.M. and Racing at 7:30 P.M. (CT). Special Event times will be posted as they arrive on the schedule.
