Bicycles and Backpacks Highlight Races Saturday Night

TULSA, Okla. (August 9th, 2016) - After inclement weather forces the cancellation of last week's racing program, Creek County Speedway is excited to kick off the month of August with Backpacks and Bicycles.

Backpacks will be given away to the kids, sponsored and provided by the Creek County Speedway Fast Five Weekly Racing Series drivers. Make sure they get there early to get their backpacks, as supply and quantities will be limited. The backpacks will contain a limited amount of back-to-school supplies for the kids as they make their way back into the schools over the coarse of the next few weeks.

What better way to travel to and from school than a brand new bicycle. Bicycles will be given away by Creek County Commissioner Rick Stewart at the end of the racing event on the front straight-a-way. Commissioner Stewart will be on hand, as well as the Fast Five Weekly Racing Series A-Feature winners of the evening to draw and present the bicycles to one lucky girl, and one lucky boy each night.

Bicycles will be given away through the month of August, courtesy of Commissioner Stewart.

One ticket for the bicycle drawing will be given to each kid as they come into the speedway. Kids can get their hands on more tickets by visiting the frosty pop shack and purchasing a frosty pop for twenty five cents each. The more frosty pops you buy, the more tickets you get.

Fast Five Weekly Racing Series ticket prices:
Adults: $10
Kids 10-14: $6
Kids 9 and under: Free
Pit Passes: $30.00

Saturday night's action kicks off at 7PM with gates opening at 5PM. Hotlaps start at 6:30PM
