Brandon James Picks Up His First Win Of The Season
Brandon James picks up his first win of the season in the Champ Sprints. Starting on the front row the #50 went green to checkers on a fast heavy typically unusual for a track on the 100 degree day.
The unstoppable Bobby Wolf (#5w) picks up his 15th win of the year in Factory Stock.
In Mini Stock action Wesley Kneble (#17) showed the class the fast way around the track for his 8th feature win.
Chacon (#12) picks up his 4th as Todd Reynolds (#5) takes over the points lead as Mike Howard (#26) gets his 2nd DNF in two weeks as a very close contest continues in Dwarf Car action.
The race of the night goes to Joe Wright (#75) as his attempt to end Chad Davis (#52) string of 9 failed by a nose at the line. The 75 Surviving 4 yellows with 5 laps left, the 52 pulled to the high side in a do or die race to the finish pulling off his 10th in a row.
David Stephens drives to victory in a added bonus race for the fans as the Champ Sprints pull off their wings in a winner take all race.
