Night 3 of the “Race for the Championship” set to go this Saturday night.

Terry Mattox – SAPULPA, Okla. (July 23rd, 2013) – Night 3 of the 2013 “Race for the Championship” chase continues this Saturday night at the Creek County Speedway.

Brent Bates continues to lead the Champ Sprint point standings. Ricky York and Jackie York are currently tied for the second spot with 1745 points each. Christian York and Robby Sherrell rounds out the top 5.

Ho Dean currently leads the “Mighty” Modified division with a 7 point lead over second place Brett “The Jet” Wilson. Dena Wilson sits in third 60 markers behind point leader Ho Dean. Rounding out the top 5 is Shawn Rowell and Anthony Neel.

Jeff Record leads Kevin Brewer by 119 points in the “Down and Dirty” Dwarf Car division. David Cummins sits in the third spot 233 points behind Record. Last week’s feature winner Larry Pense, and Rick Cochran rounds out the top 5.

Moving on to the “Fast and Furious” Factory Stock division were Josh Jefferies continues to lead over second place Jimmy Owen by 167 markers. Bobby Wolfe currently hold down the third spot 351 points behind Jefferies. Toby Cooper sits in fourth and Dann Gray round out the top 5.

Daniel Ray Denton is out in front in the “Survival of the Fittest” Mini Stock division. Daniel Ray’s cousin Dee Denton sits in the second spot 292 points behind his cousin Daniel. Michael Rodman holds down the third spot 388 markers behind Daniel. Dearl Harrison rides in fourth and Michael Stucks rounds out the top 5.

Load up the kids, call your mother in law and bring them all out to “The Creek” this Saturday night for the fastest fun around!

Gates open at 5:00; Hotlaps at 7:00; and the green flag flies at 7:30!

Tickets just $10 for adults, children 10-14 $6 and kid 10 and under are always FREE! Pit Passes $30.

Creek County Speedway is a fast quarter mile oval located outside Sapulpa, Oklahoma on historic Route 66. CCS has been bringing high octane excitement to race fans since 1986.
