NOW600 set for Inaugural Season

Terry Mattox – BROKEN ARROW, Okla. (May 18, 2013) – The National Open Wheel 600 Series is set to kick off its inaugural season in two weeks.

Six events are on the schedule for the inaugural year for the NOW600 micro series. The schedule includes three events at the Creek County Speedway, two events at the Caney Valley Speedway and a single event at the West Siloam Speedway.

The season kicks off on Friday night May 31st at the Creek County Speedway located just outside of Sapulpa, Okla. on historic Route 66. The event is held in conjunction with the American Bank of Oklahoma ASCS Sooner Region Sprint Cars. The event will be the first point race for the Restricted and Non-Wing divisions.

Caney Valley Speedway will host the second stop on the 2013 NOW600 tour, after postponing the originally planned opening night back on April 20th for the NOW600 micros, the tight little quarter mile will take center stage for all three NOW600 classes (Restrictors, A-Class and Non-Wings.)

Night number three the NOW600 Restrictors and Non-Wing divisions will be back at “The Creek” with the Lucas Oil American Sprint Car Series National Tour on a special Thursday night show, scheduled for June 20th.

Fourth night of the NOW600 season will also be held at the Creek County Speedway, with the American Bank of Oklahoma ASCS Sooner Region Sprints. Restrictors and Non-Wing classes will be the only NOW600 classes in competition.

Night number five will be held back at the Caney Valley Speedway, where all NOW600 classes will be in action.

Rounding out the year right now is West Siloam Speedway, where we will bring the curtain down on the inaugural year for the NOW600 Series. All NOW600 classes will be in action at the racy quarter mile oval.

Be sure you don’t miss any action from the newly formed National Open Wheel 600 Series, coming to a track near you.
