DRUMRIGHT, Okla. (December 29, 2015) – Officials with the National Open Wheel 600 Series presented by MyRacePass have released the First Look: 2016 Schedules for the NOW600 National Series presented by MyRacePass; NOW600 North Texas Region powered by FFE Racing Engines and the NOW600 Sooner Regions.
19 dates highlight the overall NOW600 National Series presented by MyRacePass which includes dates in Oklahoma and North Texas.
Of those 19 events, 12 events will be in-conjunction with the NOW600 North Texas Region powered by FFE Racing Engines and nine events will be held with the NOW600 Sooner Region Micros.
Kicking off the 2016 slate for the NOW600 National Series presented by MyRacePass and NOW600 North Texas Region powered by FFE Racing Engines will be the Superbowl Speedway in Greenville, Texas on February 19 and 20, 2016 featuring the Restricted ‘A’ Class, Winged A-Class and Stock Non-Wing classes.
Breaking more new ground in the Lone Star state will be on March 4 and 5, 2016 at the Red River Speedway in Wichita Falls, Texas for the Red River Roundup. This will be the second event for the NOW600 National and North Texas Series along with the season opener for the NOW600 Sooner Region. This event will pay $400 to win on top of the standard NOW600 single day payout for the Winged A-Class and Stock Non-Wing classes.
Creek County Speedway will play host to five NOW600 events in 2016, starting off on Friday, April 8 featuring the NOW600 National and Sooner A-Class division. May 20 and July 8 classes are TBA while June 3 and August 18 will feature the NOW600 National and Sooner Non-Wing classes.
April 29 will see the National and North Texas Region Non-Wing division invade the RPM Speedway in Crandall, Texas and then April 30 at the Superbowl Speedway in Greenville, Texas. These two events will be held in conjunction with the Lucas Oil POWRi West Midget Series.
The Clash at Cactus will take place on Saturday, June 4 at the Cactus Speedway in Bullard, Texas featuring all three NOW600 National and North Texas sanctioned divisions along with the Lonestar 600’s. This event will pay $1000 to win and $100 to start the 30-lap A-Mains for the Winged A-Class and Stock Non-Wing divisions, while the Restricted class will be running for standard NOW600 payout for their 20-lap feature.
Red River Speedway in Wichita Falls, Texas will tentatively close the 2016 NOW600 Micro Series presented by MyRacePass on October 28 and 29 featuring the NOW600 National, North Texas and Sooner Regions. This event will also pay $400 to win for both A-Class and Stock Non-Wing classes as it is set for the March dates.
Dates that are TBA are July 29 and 30 as well as August 17 and September 17.

The 2016 season marks the fourth season of competition for the National Open Wheel 600 Series sanctioning micro sprint racing in Oklahoma and North Texas.
