Wet Forecast Postpones NOW600 Micro Nationals At Creek County To November 11-12

Bryan Hulbert – SAPULPA, Okla. (November 2, 2022) With a forecast that calls for rain all day and into the night on Friday, along with the chance for severe storms, officials with the Lucas Oil National Open Wheel 600 Series presented by Hi Plains Building Division have postponed the $2,000 to win NOW600 Micro Nationals to Friday, November 11, and Saturday, November 12.

“With the forecast for Friday, and the amount of rain predicted, we know night one will be a wash. The other concern is not being able to get the Pits dry enough to race Saturday, and the last thing we want to do is drag everyone here and not be able to race at all. Might be a little cooler next week, but hopefully dry,” explained NOW600 Director/Owner Terry Mattox.

With the postponement, pre-entry has been extended to Wednesday, November 9 at 11:59 P.M. Entry fee for the Stock Non-Wing, Winged A-Class, and Restricted 'A' Class will be $150 per class and includes two days pit pass and pill draw. After November 9, pit passes will not be included in entry fee. NOW600 Sooner State Dwarf Cars will also be on the program each night. Saturday's Dwarf Car feature will pay $1,000 to win and $100 to start. $20 draw fee each night. $200 to win and $35 to start Friday.

Friday, November 11, opens at 4:00 P.M. with racing at 8:00 P.M. Saturday, November 12, moves race time up to 5:00 P.M. (CT).
